As a woman growing up in the 70's and early 80's, I have been strongly influenced by the social activist movements of feminism and civil rights. The continuing prevalence of the 'isms', sexism, racism, ageism, etc. alarm me. Confronting dominant paradigms of thought, both personal and cultural, I am interested in engaging the viewer to go beneath these belief systems to address the fear-based thoughts that create them.
